Exceptional looks, outstanding fit and, in my opinion, the best chamois I have tested so far.

Let’s start with the looks, because Nimbl cycling apparel looks fantastic. But what impressed me even more is the fit. And I haven’t even mentioned the chamois in the bib shorts yet, which is without a doubt the best I have tested so far.

One thing I have noticed with many well-known, often expensive cycling apparel brands is that their clothing seems to fit perfectly mainly on lean, professional cyclists. However, that is not always the case for the average amateur cyclist. Jerseys can ride up around the stomach, bib shorts can sit too low at the front, and the chamois is not always particularly impressive.

In my opinion, Nimbl has done an excellent job of addressing these issues.

Nimbl Halo Jersey: My Personal Favourite

The Halo Jersey is incredibly comfortable. The fabric has plenty of stretch, the jersey fits beautifully, and the overall fit is excellent. It feels comfortable on the bike and fits exactly the way I like my cycling apparel to fit.

It is clothing that not only looks great but also keeps you comfortable during longer rides.

Nimbl Bib Shorts: A Different Approach

Nimbl has also done an excellent job with its Bib Shorts. Their design is different from that of many other cycling shorts I have tested.

The front of the shorts sits higher, extending above the navel. This might sound like a small detail, but it makes a real difference in practice. For many cyclists, this higher waist will feel much more comfortable than the lower-cut designs offered by other brands.

And then there is the chamois. It is excellent. It feels comfortable, and personally, it is the best chamois I have tested so far.

Nimbl Aero Jersey: Built for Speed

The Aero Jersey is a different story. It fits noticeably tighter than most jerseys I am used to wearing. For that reason, I would definitely consider sizing up when choosing this model.

This jersey is particularly suited to cyclists looking for a tight, lightweight and aerodynamic kit. If you want a true aero fit and a sleek, race-ready look, it is definitely worth considering.

These are premium prices, but in my opinion, you get something special in return. The clothing looks fantastic, the fit is excellent, and comfort is right where it needs to be. Another great detail is that Nimbl cycling apparel is made in Italy.

My Verdict: Is Nimbl Cycling Apparel Worth It?

Of the items I tested, the Nimbl Halo Jersey paired with the Bib Shorts is my absolute favourite combination. The fit and comfort are what really set this kit apart for me. While many brands seem to focus primarily on the ideal professional cyclist's physique, Nimbl appears to have put real thought into making cycling apparel that fits comfortably on a wider range of riders.

The Aero Jersey is an excellent option for anyone looking for a tighter, more aerodynamic fit, but personally, I would choose the Halo.

Nimbl has impressed me. The looks are fantastic, the fit is outstanding, and the chamois in the Bib Shorts is the clear winner of this test.

If you are looking for premium cycling apparel that combines Italian manufacturing, great design and exceptional comfort, Nimbl is definitely a brand worth checking out.
